Qatar Condemns In The Strongest Terms Israeli Occupation's Bombing Of Town In Syria
Doha: The State of Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation's bombing of the town of Koya, west of Daraa, in the Syrian Arab Republic, which resulted in deaths and injuries, considering it a dangerous escalation and a flagrant violation of international law.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the continuous aggression by the occupation against Syria and Lebanon, along with its ongoing brutal war on Gaza, threatens to ignite a cycle of violence in the region. In this context, the ministry called on the international community to exert pressure on the occupation to comply with international legitimacy resolutions.
The ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's full support for Syria's sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and the aspirations of its brotherly people for security and stability.
