Cash Van Robbery Suspects Arrested

Police have arrested the suspects involved in the Peshawar cash van heist, recovering over Rs. 30 million.

SSP Operations Masood Bangash revealed during a press conference that four suspects, including the van driver, were arrested, and legal proceedings are underway.

Initial investigations indicate that the robbery was an inside job, with the van driver collaborating with the criminals. The driver had only been employed for six months and had a history of being dismissed from previous jobs.

Authorities further disclosed that the cash van was transporting significant money to different districts, and the robbers had prior knowledge of the movement. The police are now investigating the suspects' criminal records and possible connections with other gangs.

CCTV footage of the Peshawar heist, which took place on GT Road, Hashtnagri, had surfaced, aiding police in tracking down the suspects.
