Trump Says Oswald Didn't Act Alone Regarding JFK Assassination
(MENAFN) United States Leader Donald Trump recently expressed his belief that Lee Harvey Oswald, the man charged with killing President John F. Kennedy in 1963, did not work on his own.
In an interview with a radio host, Trump was asked if he thought Oswald killed JFK on his own. Trump replied, "I do, and I always felt that. Of course he was… helped," based on a newspaper.
Trump also commented on the new publish of declassified documents connected to the assassination, stating that he didn’t believe the files revealed anything “earth-shattering.”
He described the contents as “somewhat unspectacular” but encouraged individuals to draw their own conclusions about the events.
While the FBI and Justice Department have consistently maintained that Oswald acted on his own, public uncertainty has lingered for many years.
Oswald, who denied responsibility for the assassination, was killed two days later by Jack Ruby.
The newspaper stated that, although the recently published documents do not confirm any conspiracy theories, they have reignited discussions about one of the most analyzed events in American history.
