Deadly shooting claims three lives, injures others in New Mexico
(MENAFN) Local authorities reported that a violent incident at Young Park in Las Cruces, New Mexico, resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to fifteen others on Friday.
Local police said in a post on Facebook that the shooting took place about 10 p.m. (0400GMT Saturday). The deceased were identified as two 19-year-old men and a 16-year-old boy. The injured victims ranged in age from 16 to 36 years old.
Officials have withheld the names of those killed and wounded while they conduct their investigation.
Currently, no arrests have been made; however, police are persistently following several leads.
The Las Cruces Police Department is receiving assistance from the FBI and New Mexico State Police in their ongoing investigation.
