Kuwait Airways: Some Flights Canceled Due To Heathrow Airport Emergency

KUWAIT, March 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Airways announced on Friday the cancellation of some scheduled flights, due to a sudden power outage witnessed by Heathrow Airport in London, United Kingdom.
In a statement, the Airways explained that this malfunction led to the closure of the airport and the suspension of all incoming and outgoing flights until midnight, UK time.
As a result, flights KU101, KU102, KU103, and KU104 scheduled for today have been canceled.
The company confirmed that it is closely following the latest developments in coordination with Heathrow Airport authorities.
Kuwait Airways called on passengers whose flights have been affected to contact the customer service center via the number 171 from within Kuwait, or the number 00965-24345555 from outside Kuwait.
Additionally, passengers can contact the WhatsApp phone service via the number 00965-22200171. (end)
