Arab Ambassadors In Beijing Stress Importance Of Strengthening Arab-Chinese Relations

BEIJING, March 20 (KUNA) -- Arab ambassadors to Beijing stressed the importance on strengthening China-Arab relations in various fields.
The remarks were made in statements the ambassadors made during an annual Iftar banquet at Kuwait House, hosted by Kuwaiti Ambassador to China Jassim Al-Najem.
The Ambassadors emphasized the importance of the China-Arab summit scheduled to be held in Beijing next year, 2026, which will discuss many important issues for both Arab and Chinese sides at the regional and international levels.
They emphasized that China attaches great importance to Middle Eastern issues, as reflected in numerous joint initiatives, particularly its positive stance on the Palestinian conflict, and its opposition to actions and behaviors that violate international law and international humanitarian law.
Kuwaiti Ambassador to Beijing Al-Najem praised the outcomes of the Arab-Chinese summit hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2022 and welcomed the holding of the second Arab-Chinese summit next year.
Ambassador Al-Najem emphasized that the State of Kuwait and Arab countries attach top priority to strengthening their strategic partnership with China in various fields through establishing sustainable partnerships.
Previously, the State of Kuwait has submitted a bid to host the third Arab-Chinese Summit in 2030. (end)
