Car accident claims four lives in Northern Spain

(MENAFN) On late Saturday, four individuals died when their vehicle skidded off the way and fell approximately 200 meters down a tilt close to the Lunada mount cross in Cantabria, Spain.

At a news meeting on Sunday, Eugenia Gomez de Diego, the Spanish government representative in Cantabria, revealed that the victims—two young men and two young women, all between the ages of 20 and 21—were from Madrid. The incident took place at about 8 p.m. local time (2100 GMT).

Jose Miguel Tolosa, head of the Cantabrian Traffic Department, described the road where the crash happened as "very narrow" with a sharp drop on one side, noting that "any distraction" might result in a deadly outcome.
