Death rate from American, British air bombings in Sanaa increase to 31
(MENAFN) The number of dead people from Saturday night’s American-British air bombings on several Yemeni areas has increased to 31, and 101 others wounded, who are majorly women and children, as stated by the Houthi-operated Health Ministry on Sunday.
Anis Al-Asbahi, the ministry’s representative, said: “The massacres committed by the US aggression targeting civilian and residential areas in Sanaa, Saada, Al-Bayda, and Rada’a on Saturday resulted in 132 civilian casualties, including 31 martyrs and 101 wounded, most of whom are children and women.”
He also mentioned that the numbers are “preliminary, as search efforts continue to recover victims following a series of US airstrikes targeting civilian sites.”
Asbahi criticized the strikes, describing them as a “full-fledged war crime added to the record of the criminal coalition of evil” and a “blatant violation of all international laws and conventions.”
On Saturday, the Iran-supported Houthi party reported American-British air bombings on Yemen that murdered 24 individuals, and nearly 23 others injured.
