Lebanese man injured by Israeli military despite ceasefire agreement

(MENAFN) A Lebanese man was wounded by Israeli military forces in southern Lebanon on Sunday, in the recent breaking of a ceasefire deal, the Health Ministry has stated.

As mentioned by a ministry announcement, a man suffered from severe wounds as Israeli military forces shot fire in the city of Kfarkela.

On Saturday night, Israeli military aircrafts dropped down over 20 air bombs in southern Lebanon, yet no deaths were stated.

An unstable ceasefire has been applied in Lebanon since Nov. 27, closing months of cross-border conflict involving Israel and the Lebanese party Hezbollah that intensified into an extensive war the previous September.

Lebanese agencies have announced almost 1,100 Israeli breakings of the ceasefire agreement, such as causing the loss of no less than 85 individuals as well as causing injuries to over 280 people.
