U.S. health department gives DOGE access to child support database
(MENAFN) The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has gave associates of the Department of government Efficiency (DOGE) permission to a huge child support database, in spite of the rejections from job workers, as reported by a news agency on Saturday.
The database, which is done by the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), is made to impose child support expenses and it also has financial information on almost all US employees.
An HHS official reported to a news agency that DOGE had permission to the database, stating that the party had demanded “read-only” access and was asked to finish practicing before the usage of the system.
“ACF supports DOGE’s efforts to improve efficiency and data quality to reduce waste, fraud, and abuse in federal programs,” the unidentified official informed a news agency.
DOGE, which has been pursuing the permission to taxpayer records in order to determine redundant or unsuitable expenses, has encountered confrontation from job workers at the Internal Revenue Service.
