Iconic football clubs send well wishes to Muslims on Ramadan


(MENAFN) Iconic football clubs as well as players around Europe have posted supportive words and celebration for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan using their social media accounts.

"Ramadan Mubarak dalla famiglia Nerazzurra," Inter Milan wrote on X, along with a greeting written in Arabic.

Their city opponents, AC Milan, also posted celebrative words: "#RamadanKareem to all the AC Milan family who are observing."

Manchester United, usually recognized as the Red Devils, expressed their celebration to their worldwide fans, saying: "Ramadan Mubarak to Reds across the globe."

The club’s Moroccan fullback, Noussair Mazraoui, celebrated the month by meeting with fans in an exceptional gathering hosted by the Manchester United Muslim Supporters Club, establishing an effective relation with the fanbase.

Real Madrid’s German defender Antonio Rudiger, who has Sierra Leonean roots, sent his well wishes: "Wishing all my Muslim brothers and sisters a blessed and peaceful Ramadan! May this holy month bring you joy, peace, and countless blessings."
