Russian Federation Council chairwoman says ties between Turkey, Russia is mutually helpful


(MENAFN) Collaboration in different sectors involving Turkey and Russia is helpful for the residents of both countries, the chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia stated on Thursday.

Valentina Matviyenko was talking at a shared press conference with Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmus.

Matviyenko stated that during Kurtulmus’ trip to Russia the previous September, a deal was settled on to make inter-parliamentary discussions more dynamic
She additionally mentioned that today, both mutual as well as local matters were debated efficiently.

Saying that there was bilateral deal on growing ties to another stage, she emphasized that the attempts must be built on values including bilateral interests, respect as well as a balance of benefits.

She mentioned that all regions of mutual ties, such as security, were discussed at today’s gathering.

Matviyenko additionally underlined that the trade rate between the two regions has risen and the regions of mutual ties have widened.
