Incubation Centre At Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Sets-Up Knowledge Bank For Industry

(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Feb 18 (KNN) In a significant development for India's MSME sector, the Atal Incubation Centre at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (AIC-GGSIPU) and Laghu Udyog Bharati- industry wing of BJP formalised a strategic partnership on Monday through a Memorandum of Understanding.

A key feature of this collaboration is the establishment of a Knowledge Bank Initiative, which will provide MSMEs with valuable resources including research findings, case studies, and policy advocacy support to enhance their decision-making capabilities.

The agreement focuses on strengthening Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises through innovative technology solutions, research-based insights, and specialised training programs.

The comprehensive partnership addresses critical business challenges faced by MSMEs while promoting sustainable growth through digital transformation and advanced management practices.

Vice Chancellor of GGSIPU, Padma Shri Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, who attended the signing ceremony, emphasised the vital role of industry-academic partnerships in fostering entrepreneurship.

"Such collaborations are essential in bridging the gap between academic research and practical industry needs, which benefits both sectors," he stated, underscoring the importance of these alliances in driving innovation and business growth.

AIC-GGSIPU CEO Hemant Kumar Srivastava reinforced the center's commitment to MSME development, stating, "Our goal is to foster the growth of MSMEs through research and technological advancements that can make a real difference in their operations and market performance."

The event was also attended by key LUB representatives, including National General Secretary Om Prakash Gupta, National Co-ordinator Aarti Sehgal, and All India Secretary Anju Bajaj, who expressed their strong support for the initiative.

Environmental sustainability forms a crucial component of this partnership, with both organisations committing to help MSMEs achieve Net Zero goals.
