Kuwait 28Th Humanitarian Planeload Takes Off To Syria

KUWAIT, Feb 16 (KUNA) -- The 28th planeload of humanitarian aid took off from Kuwait to Damascus International airport on Sunday carrying on board 10 tons of various relief materials for the most needy groups, as part of the "Kuwait by Your Side" campaign.
In remarks to KUNA, Director General of Al-Salam Charity Society Hamad Al-Aoun said that Al-Salam Charity's continued provision of humanitarian support to the Syrian brothers stems from Kuwait's long history of providing relief to the needy.
He expressed his thanks to the entities supporting Kuwaiti charitable work, stressing that this comes as a translation of the lofty directives aimed at helping countries in the most difficult circumstances. (end)
