Department Of Meteorology Warns Of Strong Wind


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be hazy at places at first, becoming moderate in temperature daytime and partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain, and relatively cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected strong wind at places at times.
Offshore, it will partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain, the report added, warning of expected strong wind and high sea.
Wind inshore will be mainly northeasterly to northwesterly at a speed of 10 - 20 KT, gusting to 25 KT at places at times.
Offshore, it will be northeasterly to northwesterly at a speed of 08 - 18 KT, gusting to 25 KT at times.
Sea state inshore will be 2 - 4 ft, rising to 5 ft at times. Offshore, it will be 2 - 5 ft, rising to 8 ft at times.
Visibility inshore will be 4 - 9 km and offshore will be 5 - 9 km.
