OIC Chief Discusses With Gambian, Cameroonian Fms Developments In Palestine


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, Feb 12 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hussein Taha held discussions on Wednesday with both Foreign Minister of Gambia Dr. Mamadou Tangara and Foreign Minister of Cameroon Lejeune Mbella revolving around the vital developments in Palestine in light of the US President's statement on the issue.
A statement by the OIC said that this came during calls between Taha and the foreign minister of Gambia who is chair of the current session of the Islamic Summit Conference, and the Cameroonian minister in his capacity as chairman of the current session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization.
Adding, both calls revolved around holding a ministerial meeting to put forth the organization's stance against the displacing of Palestinian people and strengthening its steadfastness in its land in the face of the aggressive Israeli policies. (end)
