Youth Minister Underscores Significance Of Entrepreneurship, Creativity

Amman, Feb. 10 (Petra) – Jordanian youth must embrace entrepreneurship and creativity and stay up with technological changes, Youth Minister Yazan Shdeifat said on Monday.
Shdeifat gave his remarks during a meeting with Salam Abualhayja'a, the young, renowned Jordanian engineer and designer of astronauts' space suits.
Shdeifat commended Abualhayja'a pioneering work in engineering and space sciences. He praised her achievements in developing astronaut suits, highlighting the creativity and excellence of Jordanian youth in various fields.
The minister reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to supporting innovative entrepreneurial projects by providing training programs aimed at empowering young people, enhancing their skills, and fostering their innovative ideas, particularly in the education and technology sectors.
For her part, Abualhayja'a stated that she has taken steps to establish a nonprofit organization dedicated to training and educating Jordanian youth to become astronauts, innovators, and researchers.
She added that, along with a team of engineers, scientists, and students, she aims to create a Mars simulation center in Wadi Rum, which will serve as a hub for researchers and tourists while offering specialized training programs for young Jordanians interested in space exploration.
