Fighting Ongoing Near Velyka Novosilka Military

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Fighting is ongoing on the outskirts of Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region.

This was reported by Viktor Trehubov, Spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Troops, during a TV broadcast, as reported by a Ukrinform correspondent.

"Fighting is ongoing on the outskirts of Velyka Novosilka. It is not without success. Additionally, we regularly report on it – both regarding the damage to the enemy there directly, and about the enemy trying to advance from there in other directions," Trehubov stated.

The Spokesperson also commented on the situation in the village of Kotlyne in the Pokrovsk sector. "Fighting has been ongoing there for some days," he noted.

As previously reported, over the past 24 hours, on February 9, a total of 99 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the Russian invaders were recorded on the front line. The Ukrainian forces repelled 33 enemy assaults on the Pokrovsk axis.
