Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar condemns in the strongest terms the provocative statements of the Israeli Prime Minister regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state in the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and considers them a flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the State of Qatar's full solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and at the same time calls on the international community to firmly confront Israeli provocations.

The Ministry reiterates the State of Qatar's categorical rejection of calls for the forced displacement of the brotherly Palestinian people, and warns that such calls would hinder the chances of peace and renew confrontations in the region, and stresses that a just and sustainable peace will not be achieved unless the Palestinians are enabled to impose their sovereignty over their lands.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reiterates the State of Qatar's firm position on the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
