US President: No Rush To Implement Gaza Takeover Plan

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) WASHINGTON, Feb 7 (KUNA) -- US President Donald trump reiterated Friday his talk about resettling Gazans, but indicated that he is not in a hurry to implement his plan.
"We're in no rush on it," Trump told reporters at the White House.
On Thursday, President Trump stated that Israel would hand the Gaza Strip over to the United States after the end of the fighting and Gazans would be resettled in other countries.
"The Palestinians, people like Chuck Schumer, would have already been resettled in far safer and more beautiful communities, with new and modern homes, in the region," he said.
The evacuation would give Palestinians "a chance to be happy, safe, and free," he added.
He pointed out that the US, working with great development teams from all over the World, would slowly and carefully begin the construction of what would become one of the greatest and most spectacular developments of its kind on Earth.
He affirmed that implementing this plan would not require any US military presence in the Strip.
"No soldiers by the U.S. would be needed! Stability for the region would reign!!!" (end)
