Enemy Intensifies Use Of Fiber-Optic Drones In Siversk Sector Military

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In the Siversk direction, Russian troops are using artillery, drones and armored vehicles in assaults.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Bohdan Pantyo, head of the operational planning section of the headquarters of the 4th Battalion“Force of Freedom” of the Rubizh Brigade, senior lieutenant of the National Guard of Ukraine, on the air of the Espresso TV channel.

“The situation remains tense in the Siversk sector. The enemy is constantly storming our positions, our front line. Its firepower is now at a high level, both from artillery and from FPV or drones with a drop,” noted Pantyo.

According to him, the enemy has begun to actively use FPV drones on fiber optics to target the logistics of the Defense Forces, as well as mine the Armed Forces' logistics routes.

“The enemy attacks frequently, but not in the same way. You can never predict what kind of assault will take place today or tomorrow: whether it will be with vehicles or on foot, what type of equipment will be used - armored, lightly armored or, perhaps, motorcycles or off-road vehicles. Accordingly, we work every day, expect the enemy's actions and are ready to repel assaults,” Pantyo emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, 101 combat engagements between the Defense Forces and Russian invaders took place at the front yesterday , February 6, and Ukrainian troops repelled 36 enemy attacks in the Pokrovsk sector.
