Qatar Keen To Develop Farm Sector: Amir


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) His Highness the Amir sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani visited the 12th edition of the Qatar International Agricultural exhibition (AgriteQ 2025) at the Katara Cultural Village yesterday.
During the visit, His Highness the Amir was briefed in the exhibition halls and pavilions of participating countries and entities on the latest agricultural systems and innovative solutions to improve productivity, reduce water waste, and enhance innovation and sustainable development in the agricultural sector, which is considered one of the main pillars of comprehensive development in the country within the framework of Qatar National Vision 2030.
His Highness the Amir also visited the pavilion of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, the guest of honour of the current edition of the exhibition. His Highness the Amir was accompanied by a number of senior officials.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani commended the progress made in Qatar's agriculture sector and food security, during his visit to the Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition.
In a post on his official X account, His Highness the Amir expressed his happiness with what he saw of the progress made in Qatar's agriculture sector and food security during his visit to the exhibition, saying that the exhibition represents a significant platform for exchanging expertise and best practices in that field. His Highness the Amir stressed that the Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition reflects Qatar's great interest in developing and investing in the agriculture sector in a way that serves Qatar National Vision 2030.
