Minister Al-Huwaila: Flag Raising Ceremony Embodies Kuwaiti's Unity, Reflects Loyalty

KUWAIT, Feb 5 (KUNA) -- Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila on Wednesday said the Kuwaiti flag raising ceremony on the event of the national day embodies citizens' unity and reflects loyalty and enhances the spirit of giving in serving the country.
Dr. Amthal's statement came during an event organized by the Social Welfare Sector of the Ministry to raise the flag on the occasion of the 64th National Day and 34th Liberation day celebrations, in the presence of Acting Undersecretary of the ministry, Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, and Acting Assistant Undersecretary, Dr. Jassim Al-Kandri, alongside representatives of official authorities, students, workers and beneficiaries from the sector.
She added, the flag ceremony is not just a yearly formality but also a renewal of the national allegiance as she pointed to the efforts of the volunteers who helped organize the event, to say that cooperative works of this magnitude are the building blocks of our next generation.
This national event reflects "our country's unity and social harmony, and everyone's commitment to the process of development and prosperity that Kuwait seeks to achieve", said Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi.
Dr. Jassim Al-Kandri also added, the Ministry's social sector carries a humanitarian and national message and seeks to support beneficiary groups and integrate them into society. (end)
