In 2024, 26 projects and four real estate projects were spearheaded or supported by the Frisco EDC which led to more than 4,000 new and retained jobs, more than $1.5 billion in private capital investment, more than 260,000 square feet leased, and 1.8 million square feet of new commercial space. Frisco has one of the highest office leasing activities in the region, and it's Class A office vacancy rate is 6 percent lower than the regional average of 24 percent according to CoStar.

"Just in this past year alone, we leased the square foot equivalent of three Empire State Buildings," said Jason Ford, Frisco EDC President. "As we enter year four of our five-year plan, we expect to maintain great momentum with more exciting projects ahead and continue benefiting our citizens by keeping the tax rates low while bringing in major projects to the city."
