Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Firm, Unwavering Position On Establishment Of Palestinian State

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Feb 5 (KUNA) - Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister reaffirmed the Kingdom's firm and unwavering position on the establishment of a Palestinian state, and is not subject to negotiation or outbidding.
In a statement Wednesday, the foreign Ministry stressed its absolute rejection of any infringement on the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, whether through Israeli settlement policies, annexation of Palestinian lands, or attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land.
It also affirmed that the duty of the international community today is to work to alleviate the harsh human suffering that the Palestinian people, as they will remain committed to their land and will not budge from it.
The ministry stressed that a lasting and just peace cannot be achieved without the Palestinian people obtaining their legitimate rights in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, and this was previously explained to the previous and current US administrations. (end)
