
Jazz Bridges Indonesia And Cuba As Nations Celebrate 65 Years Of Diplomatic Relations
At a ceremony commemorating the anniversary, Ambassador Yuliana emphasized the shared values and deep cooperation that have characterized the relationship.“Our commitment remains strong as we continue working together in global forums such as the G77+China, the Global South, and, more recently, BRICS+,” she said, according to Prensa Latina , a partner of TV BRICS. She added that Indonesia's recent inclusion as the first Southeast Asian member of BRICS highlights the country's proactive foreign policy.
The two countries have previously signed several agreements, including a memorandum of understanding on visa exemptions for diplomatic and service passport holders, cooperation in science, technology, and innovation, and an agreement between their respective chambers of commerce to promote economic collaboration.
“The event tonight is more than just a celebration of 65 years of diplomatic relations. It is a reaffirmation of our shared vision for the future,” Ambassador Yuliana concluded.
