Momand Khel Tribes In Bannu Unite With Police To Expel Criminals And Drug Dealers


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) Bannu: The Momand Khel tribes in Bannu have announced a decisive move to expel criminals and drug dealers from their area, pledging full support to law enforcement in a joint effort to eliminate crime and drug trafficking.

Tribal elders and leaders from the Momand Khel community declared their commitment to stand alongside the Police to rid the region of criminal elements and the scourge of drugs. Under the new agreement, anyone involved in drug trafficking or aiding such activities will face a fine of PKR 50,000.

Additionally, the tribes have imposed a PKR 50,000 penalty on any public representative who attempts to interfere with police investigations by advocating for criminals or thieves at police stations.

Delivering a strong message, the Momandkhel leadership stated that criminals and drug peddlers must leave the area. Chief of Momand Khel, Malik Mir Shamad Khan, emphasized,“We stand united with the police on one platform and are determined to cleanse our region of crime.”
