Lee Nugent Departs Archetype

(MENAFN- PRovoke) SINGAPORE - Lee Nugent, who has led Archetype (formerly Text100) in Asia-Pacific since 2016, is leaving the firm, PRovoke media has learned.

During his tenure as regional director for APAC, the technology specialist agency – part of the Next 15 group – won multiple Consultancy of the Year and Best Agency to Work For honours. Nugent was also honoured with the PRovoke Media outstanding individual achievement SABRE award in 2023.

In his role, Nugent led a team of more than 350 marketing and communications consultants across the APAC region, and was a member of the Archetype global management team.

Before joining Text100 in 2016, Nugent was CEO of Nelson Bostock Group in London (now part of Accenture Song ), where he conceived and led the diversification of the business into three separate agency brands, co-founding Fever and Things Unlimited.

Archetype confirmed Nugent's exit and said his role would not be replaced. Instead, the firm said in a statement that“we're empowering our collective of local leaders across APAC who will be supported directly by the global management team.” The agency also said it would have“exciting updates in the coming months.”

Nugent told PRovoke Media:“It's been both an honour and a privilege to lead such a wonderful, talented team of comms professionals over the last nine or so years. Together, we've achieved so much on this amazing journey and I will treasure each memory.

“I know the Archetype team will continue to scale ever-greater heights and I look forward to watching each future success with admiration and more than a little pride.”

Nugent is vice-chair of the PRCA's Global Advisory Board and in 2022 was made a Fellow of the PRCA for his outstanding contribution to global public relations. In 2019, he was named to PRovoke's Innovator 25 list in Asia-Pacific.
