Azerbaijan Stands Ready For Cooperated Creation Of Sustainable Digital Future - PM

Azerbaijan prioritizes the development of international cooperation and is ready for cooperation to create a sustainable digital future, the country's Prime Minister Ali Asadov said at the Digital Almaty 2025 international forum today, Trend reports.

"To achieve the goal of digital transformation, it's necessary to create a reliable infrastructure that will provide access to modern digital services for all segments of society. One of the key elements of such infrastructure is access to high-speed internet," he explained.

The prime minister emphasized that Azerbaijan also places great importance on creating favorable conditions for the development of startups, stimulating entrepreneurship, and supporting the innovative ecosystem, implements various programs to help aspiring entrepreneurs launch projects and develop their potential.

"Digital transformation is not only a technological process but also an opportunity to strengthen international cooperation. It opens up new prospects and presents us with complex challenges that require joint solutions," he added.

The Digital Almaty 2025 forum commenced on January 31 and will conclude on February 1. It includes a plenary session with the Prime Ministers of the Eurasian Economic Union countries, namely Azerbaijan, Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Iran, along with the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The forum is coordinated by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty, and Astana Hub (ACF PIT).
