US, Egypt Fms Discuss Latest Developments In Gaza

WASHINGTON, Jan 29 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed with his Egyptian counterpart Bader Abdelatty, late Tuesday, the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the continued delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians.
Rubio thanked his Egyptian counterpart during a phone call for Egypt's mediation efforts to secure the release of the hostages and a ceasefire, said US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said in a statement.
The two sides discussed the continued delivery of humanitarian aid throughout the Strip, she added. (end)
