BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 13. It is crucial to

Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis told reporters at COP29 in Baku,

"Today, we are discussing the climate crisis. We all recognize
that the climate transition must be accelerated, while also giving
more attention to adaptation measures since the crisis is already
here. It's not just about achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, but
also protecting our citizens in the years ahead, in 2024 and 2025.
Striking this balance is critical for our collective well-being,"
Mitsotakis said.
To note, the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to
the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) has started

To note, the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to
the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will
run until November 22, opened on November 11 at the Baku Olympic
