Uzbekistan, Totalenergies Discuss Co-Op In Petrochemical Industry


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 8. Uzbekistan and French TotalEnergies company discussed further strengthening cooperation in the petrochemical industry, Trend reports.

The matter was reviewed during a meeting between the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov with Executive Vice President of TotalEnergies Marie Braouzec.

At the meeting, the sides discussed existing projects in Uzbekistan and the timely implementation of previous high-level agreements.

Both parties also agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation and expedite the execution of discussed projects and initiatives.

TotalEnergies' cooperation with Uzbekistan has expanded notably in recent years, contributing to the country's goals of sustainable energy and modernization of its infrastructure. The French energy giant has invested in renewable energy projects in Uzbekistan, aligning with the country's ambition to generate 25% of its energy from renewables by 2030.
