Ukraine Brings Home Two More Children From Russian-Occupied Part Of Kherson Region
"Two more children have been successfully returned to Ukrainian-controlled territory from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. They are 5 and 17 years old. They endured pressure, humiliation, and attempts at forced 're-education,' but are finally safe," the post reads.
The rescue operation was carried out as part of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's Bring Kids Back UA initiative, with the assistance of the charitable organization Save Ukraine.
According to Prokudin, the children currently stay at Hope and Recovery Centers, where they are receiving psychological support, assistance with documents, housing, and care – everything necessary to help them regain a sense of calm and childhood.
