Gymnastics Arena In Azerbaijan's Baku Stands Magnificent - Norwegian Athlete

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. The National
Gymnastics Arena in Baku stands magnificent, member of the
Norwegian team, winner of the 15th European Championships in
TeamGym Sarah Bredalen Boyes told Trend .
She emphasized that it was her first visit to Baku.
"Azerbaijan is a very interesting and beautiful country, and
Baku has wonderful buildings. I'm very happy to be here. The
competition was very intense, with strong teams participating. We
are very pleased that we won. The Gymnastics Arena is magnificent,
and all the conditions for gymnasts have been created here," the
athlete said.
To note, Baku is hosting the European TeamGym Championships from
October 16 through 19.
TeamGym has been developing in Azerbaijan since 2018, and today
there are already formed both professional athletes and coaches, as
well as qualified judges. Not only individual skills are important
for winning in this sport but also coordinated teamwork, as well as
the willingness of athletes to cope with physical and psychological
stress.
The competition is attended by teams from the Czech Republic,
Denmark, Austria, Estonia, Finland, Great Britain, Iceland, Italy,
Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Norway, and Sweden, as well
as the national team of Azerbaijan, representing the hosts of the
championship.
