Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Reveals Its Area Allocated For Green Energy Production

NAKHCHIVAN, Azerbaijan, October 19. A total of
7,992 hectares of land have been designated for the green energy
production in Nakhchivan according to the state program,
Spokesperson for the State Energy Service of the Nakhchivan
Autonomous Republic Matin Abbasli told Trend .
"The investment process has already begun. Memoranda have been signed with domestic and foreign companies. We are analyzing the feasibility studies for several projects and are very close to starting the construction of the stations," said Abbasly.
He added that in the lowland areas of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the annual number of sunny hours ranges from 2,600 to 2,800 hours per year.
