Azerbaijan's Baku Wraps Up Third Day Of 29Th IAP Annual Conference And General Meeting (PHOTO)
About 500 people from 95 countries took part in the 3rd day of the event held in the Baku Congress Center.
Bilateral and multilateral meetings between representatives of prosecutors' offices of different countries were held within the framework of the event. In addition, various plenary sessions and networking meetings were held.
Furthermore, a special session was held on October 1, which was dedicated to the Day of Prosecutors of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the 106th anniversary of the establishment of prosecution bodies.
Addressing the session, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev noted that today Azerbaijan celebrates the professional holiday of prosecutors and the 106th anniversary of the establishment of the national prosecution bodies. Founded by the decision of October 1, 1918 within the Baku District Court, the bodies of the National Prosecutor's Office have passed a difficult but at the same time glorious way of development during its more than century-long history.
President of the International Association of Prosecutors Juan Bautista Mahiques, in his speech, noted successful reforms carried out in the Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan and wished success in the implementation of responsible tasks.
