Uzbekistan Forecasts Significant GDP Growth In Coming Years

SAMARKAND, Uzbekistan, September 25. Uzbekistan
plans to significantly increase GDP volume in the coming years, the
country's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the seminar
"Promoting Resilient Connectivity in Asia and Beyond" as part of
the bank's annual Board of Governors meeting in Samarkand today,

“The country's GDP has doubled and exceeded $100 billion. In the coming years, we'll bring this figure to $160 billion. Our goal is to bring population incomes to the level of upper-middle-income countries,” he also said.
