Azerbaijan Under No Obligation To Release Representatives Of Separatist Junta - MFA

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 10. Azerbaijan has no obligations to release war criminals and representatives of the separatist junta regime, the spokesperson for Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aykhan Hajizada, said regarding the Armenian Prime Minister's remarks against Azerbaijan during his speech at the Yerevan Forum on September 10, Trend reports.

Meanwhile, it was noted that Azerbaijan has so far, adhering to the principles of humanism, handed over all prisoners of war to Armenia.

“However, the fact that after Azerbaijan returned the prisoners of war (POWs), they were subjected to mass arrests and persecution by the Armenian state caused particular surprise in the context of this state's 'care' for its citizens,” Hajizada said.
