Armenian PM's Press Conference Misrepresents Reality - Azerbaijani FM

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 2. The Armenian
Prime Minister's press conference held on Saturday expressed
opinions that do not reflect reality, the Azerbaijani Foreign
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a joint press conference with
Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Đurić, Trend reports.
He noted that Azerbaijan presented another version of the peace
agreement on June 24.
“However, Armenia presented a new version to Azerbaijan a few
hours before the Prime Minister's press conference on Saturday.
Negotiations on the draft agreement have been going on for about 2
years. Significant progress has been made during this time. There
are additional criteria that may make it impossible to sign the
agreement. The most important of them is that Armenia does not give
up territorial claims to its neighbors. This is unacceptable.
It is important to resolve this key issue while the peace
negotiation processes continue. Armenia has not raised the issue of
the Constitution of Azerbaijan. Armenia has already realized that
it will be impossible to ignore this issue. Then there was talk
that there are such issues in the Constitution of Azerbaijan as
well. But it is not true. Azerbaijan has no territorial claims to
any state,” he said.
