Azerbaijan Crunching Numbers On Enrolled Local Observers For Looming Parliamentary Poll

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 3. By now, 14,506
local monitors have been signed up to watch the snap parliamentary
election in Azerbaijan, the country's Central Election Commission
(CEC) Chairman Mazahir Panahov said at the CEC's meeting in Baku
today, Trend
reports.
On June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the dissolution of the Azerbaijani Parliament of the sixth convocation and the appointment of an extraordinary election to the Azerbaijani Parliament.
The snap election is scheduled for September 1, 2024.
