Panama Athletes Arrive In Paris For The 2024 Olympic Games - Hillary Heron
On her Instagram account, Panamanian Hillary Heron can be seen, passport in hand, checking in at the Olympic Village and receiving her athlete's credential.
Through her social media, Heron shared a little of what her arrival was like, where her room could be seen, with the curious cardboard beds that come from Tokyo 2020.
It is also appreciated that the villa has video game rooms and a rest area, among other amenities.
Panamanians stay on the eighth floor, with neighbors from countries such as Jamaica and Ukraine.
Likewise, Panamanian judoka Kristine Jiménez shared on her Instagram stories some of the welcome gifts she had received from the event's sponsors.
Among them, two thermoses, a cap, a backpack, a towel, a bathroom kit and, what has attracted the most attention: a special edition cell phone.
Athletes were also given a card to use the Paris Metro service and have free bicycles and buses to transport them around the Olympic Village, which, due to its size, may require a vehicle to get from place to place.
Residents of the Olympic Village also have access to food and drinks, among other amenities available in the area.
Everything is ready for the start of the Olympic Games, a competition in which athletes become heroes of their countries.
