Doha: The State of Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli Minister of National Security's storming of the blessed Al Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation authorities, and the Israeli Knesset's approval of a draft law rejecting the establishment of a Palestinian state.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned, in a statement on Thursday, July 18, of the continuation of the escalatory policy adopted by the Israeli government in the occupied Palestinian territories and its impact on expanding the circle of violence in the region and undermining efforts for a two-state solution and achieving a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace.

It also stressed in this context that the repeated attempts to undermine the religious and historical status of the Al Aqsa mosque is not only an attack on the Palestinians, but on more than two billion Muslims around the world.
