 Hot Weather Conditions Expected To Persist Until Sunday

Amman, July 18 (Petra) – The weather on Thursday is forecast to be hot in most regions, with extremely high temperatures in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some high-altitude clouds are expected, and northwesterly winds will be moderate, occasionally becoming active.
On Friday, a slight drop in temperatures is anticipated. The weather will be relatively hot in the mountainous heights and plains, and very hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds will remain moderate, with occasional periods of increased activity. By evening and night, temperatures will moderate in most areas, making the conditions suitable for outdoor activities. However, it will stay relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with moderate northwesterly winds.
On Saturday and Sunday, the weather will continue to be relatively hot in the mountainous heights and plains, and very hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds will persist, moderate in strength with occasional periods of increased activity.
Temperature forecasts for today are as follows: East Amman will experience highs of 36 C and lows of 24 C, while West Amman will see temperatures ranging from 34 C to 22 C. The northern heights will have temperatures between 32 C and 20 C, and the Sharah heights between 33 C and 19 C. In the Dead Sea from 44 C to 28 C, and in the Gulf of Aqaba from 45 C to 30 C.
