Qatar Media Centre Wraps Up Cybersecurity Training Course

Doha: In collaboration with the National cyber Security Agency (NCSA), the Qatar media Centre, a Ministry of Culture affiliate, wrapped up a cybersecurity training course spanning three days as part of the Centre's summer programme. The course aimed to introduce participants to the safe use of the Internet, social media, and the digital realm.

Cybersecurity coach at NCSA Eshraq Al Hazbi delivered the course, raising participants' cybersecurity awareness amid the current digital transformation and heavy social media usage.

Al Hazbi informed participants on the principles of safe Internet browsing, understanding cyber threats and their impact on individuals and organisations in addition to providing them with the knowledge and means to deal with those threats.

Moreover, participants learned ways to protect their personal data and identify suspicious and malicious users and activities.

Upcoming on the Qatar Media Centre summer programme is a training course on public speaking to kick off on Monday and run for three days. Registration is possible through the course's code on the Centre's digital platforms.
