Increasing Temps Wednesday Heatwave Expected Beginning Thursday

Amman, July 10 (Petra) – A slight increase in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, with hot and dry weather prevailing across most regions. Scorching conditions are anticipated in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, temperatures will rise further on Thursday, exceeding the seasonal averages by approximately 4-5 degrees Celsius. The weather will remain hot and dry across most areas, with sweltering conditions in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds will be active at times.
On Friday, the weather will continue to be dry and hot in most regions, with very hot conditions in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds will occasionally stir up dust in the Badia areas.
Today's expected high and low temperatures are as follows: East Amman (36 C - 25 C), West Amman (34 C - 23 C), northern highlands (32 C - 21 C), Sharah highlands (31 C - 20 C), the Dead Sea (43 C - 29 C), and Gulf of Aqaba (44 C - 30 C).
