Qatari-Iraqi Joint Committee holds 7th session in Baghdad


(MENAFN) Minister of Commerce and Industry H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani and Minister of Commerce of the Republic of Iraq H E Athir Daoud Salman Al Ghurairi co-chaired the seventh session of the Qatari-Iraqi Joint Committee for Economic and Trade Cooperation, a significant gathering held in Baghdad from July 7-8, 2024. The session underscored a shared commitment to bolstering bilateral ties, fostering economic partnerships, and refining collaborative mechanisms between the two nations.

In his opening remarks, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani lauded the strong fraternal relations between Qatar and Iraq, emphasizing their role as a catalyst for deepening cooperation across economic, trade, and investment domains.
