Zelensky: 27 Killed, More Than 100 Injured In Missile Strike On Ukraine Today

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On Monday, July 8, 27 people were killed and more than 100 injured as a result of a Russian missile strike on Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this at a joint press conference with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Warsaw, Ukrinform reports.
"Today Russia has struck many cities of our country: Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, cities of our Donetsk region. In particular, it hit the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv, which is one of the most important not only for our country but also for our entire region. The attack hit the department where children were receiving dialysis. The buildings were damaged and the rubble is still being cleared. More than a hundred people have been injured. So far, we know of 27 people killed in these strikes," Zelensky said.

Those present at the press conference honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence.
As reported, on the morning of July 8, Russian invaders fired 40 missiles of various types at Ukraine. In Kyiv, 15 people were reported dead.
Two adults, including a doctor, were killed and 16 people were injured in the Okhmatdyt children's hospital as a result of the Russian missile attack.
