Prominent Indian Businessman, Community Leader Laid To Rest In Qatar

Doha, Qatar: Leading businessman Bekal Mohammed Salih Haji of Bombay Silk Centre and Lexus Tailoring passed away yesterday, July 7, 2024.
Aged 74, the businesssman was undergoing treatment for sometime at Hamad Medical Corporation, where he was declared dead in the early morning on Sunday.
Salih Haji landed in Qatar about 53 years back in 1971 and strived hard by trying various businesses, finally settling in the fashion industry. Apart from owning various businesses in the country, he was also an active member among the Indian community being part of various cultural associations.
Survived by his wife Mumtaz UV and daughter Jafnath Beevi, Salih Haji was laid to rest in Abu Hamour after Sunday evening prayers.
