Seoul: Chief of Staff of the Qatar armed forces H E Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit met with Korean Minister of National Defence H E Shin Won Sik, on His Excellency's current visit to the Republic of Korea.
The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest, along with bilateral military cooperation relations, and ways to enhance and develop them.
Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Korea H E Khalid bin Ebrahim Al Hamar attended the meeting, along with a lineup of senior officers in the Qatar Armed Forces.
Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces H E Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit also met with Korean Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff H E Admiral Kim Myung-soo, on His Excellency's current visit to the Republic of Korea. The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest, along with bilateral military cooperation relations, and ways to enhance and develop them.
The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Korea attended the meeting, as well as a lineup of senior officers in the Qatar Armed Forces.
The Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces also met with a number of CEOs of Korean defense industry companies, during his visit to the Republic of Korea. During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics of common interest.
The Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces also visited the factory of the fifth-generation fighter (KF-21). His Excellency also visited a medium-range surface-to-air missile unit (M-SAM), during his visit to the Republic of Korea. During the visit, he was accompanied by a number of senior officers of the Qatari Armed Forces.
