Youth Minister Launches Hussein Youth Camps For Work, Construction 2024


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Deputising for HRH crown prince Hussein, Minister of Youth Mohammad Nabulsi launched Hussein Youth Camps for Work and construction 2024 on Thursday.

The camps are organised by the Ministry of Youth under the slogan“Silver Jubilee, 25 Years of Giving and Achievement”, in partnership with official and national institutions, international organisations, and civil society institutions.

During the launch of the camps, Nabulsi said that more than 16,000 young men and women will participate this year in the camps' programmes and activities, which include qualitative programmes, aligned with current political and economic trends, and priority youth issues, both local and international.

The programmes include media literacy, artificial intelligence, participation in political life, career guidance, and electronic game development, among other programmes aimed at empowering youth and building their skills and capabilities.

On behalf of the youth participating in the camps, he appreciated the Crown Prince's interest and patronage of the camps, which represent a historical legacy that has, over decades, produced conscious and loyal generations capable of facing challenges.

The camps, which will run until August 31, will run 556 camps across all governorates of the Kingdom, including physical and sports activities, tourist paths, rescue squads, youth and national security, remote work, scouting, adventure and challenge, Jordan's eyes, future technology, vocational training, technical education for youth and intellectual property camps.
